Carbon Footprint

As part of our commitment to support our stakeholders and construction partners working towards a Carbon Net Zero future, we work on offering products that reduce carbon footprint of construction and that are produced in the most sustainable way.

In all situations where geosynthetics replace traditional construction methods, a big reduction in embodied carbon is involved when compared to the transportation and installation of large volumes of aggregates. CO₂ savings of between 50-90% are possible, for example:

• Geotextile filter layers vs mineral filtration layers
• Geocomposites for structural drainage vs concrete blocks
• Fin drains for trackside and carriageway drainage vs french drains
